2024 General Election – Federal
The Presidential Election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024, which is the first Tuesday of November. This date is set by the Constitution for the entire nation.
In this federal election, Americans are voting for the next President, Vice President, all House of Representatives seats, and about one third of the Senate. In addition, some voters will see other state candidates on their ballot at this time. Registered voters are not bound to select a party at this time like they are for a primary election. They may select from any candidate and even “mix or match” party choices, if desired.
